What a shame! How much of this goes on under the 'fair trade' label? You can't believe anything anymore. I hope all the companies buying these materials and lying about them go broke. Thanks SustianU for being committed to using materials that help society and the earth.

Comment on Made in USA: Overseas jobs come home by Ann Pace'

Hi,

I certainly LOVE the fact that SOME jobs are coming back to the USA but, I can only "HOPE" that those jobs that are coming back here will grow & grow & grow, Until America has about 80 to 85% of them back!

I was always for helping other, much poorer countries like China & India & many others by shipping a percentage of jobs from companies born here in the USA over to those countries! I must say, I NEVER expected the companies that were born here & grew big & profitable here in the USA to be sooo rotten & ship ALL of their jobs out to countries for cheaper labor & literally leave America & her hard working American Citizens without ANY JOBS!

To me, companies that did that should of been regarded as traitors & their acts of shipping ALL their jobs out of America, treasones! Yes, traitors who committed treasonists acts because they made American Citizens go bankrupt, they made American banks go bankrupt, they made every single county, state & the federal governemnts suffer HUGE LOSSES due to the lack of jobs & the tax dollars those jobs generated for ALL our government bodies!

Many of America's stores had to close because the American citizens had no jobs, no money to shop at their usual stores, so those stores closed up, for good! How horrible that sooo many citizens & long standing banks & other long standing businesses had to close up because of the selfish & greedy & treasones acts of born in the USA companies!

Our local, state & federal government bodies & the politicians who run them had an obligation to America, her citizens & to themselves to regulate how many jobs any company can ship out of America! They dropped the ball & DID NOT protect America & her citizens from these selfish & greedy "HOME GROWN TERRORISTS" that wrecked havoc on America & her citizens & her economy!

I "HOPE" the American politicians have learned now that businesses cannot be trusted to do what is right for America & therefore, they, our elected officials MUST MAKE SURE THAT COMPANIES THAT WERE BORN HERE CAN NEVER, EVER do these things to America again!?

Sincerely,

Ann Pace'

Great work! in a recent research at St. Catherine University, St. Paul, Minnesota, we found that sustainable products such as organic apparel does not have a strong presence in the ready-to-wear fashion industry and that the communication regarding sustainable efforts is lacking from manufacturer to consumer.
