CAMPUS GROUPS RALLY VOLUNTEERS
Clubs, groups and departments on college campuses in all 50 states are rallying volunteers to help collect clothes during Earth Week.
EDUCATE YOUR COMMUNITY
SustainU will help you educate your community about the benefits of textile recycling by providing access to the oneShirt Campus Posters. Use these materials around campus, on Facebook, Twitter your school website and any cool way you can think of to let people know they can make a big difference by recycling textiles.
You can also download a oneShirt PRESS RELEASE TEMPLATE [see below] to submit your school and local paper, radio and TV stations to let them know about your event.
VOLUNTEERS PICK UP DONATIONS or USE THE PLANET AID BINS
People on campus and in the community who have clothes to donate can call to have them picked-up by volunteers or drop them off themselves on campus. Planet Aid, the 2013 Official Textile Recycler for the oneShirt Challenge will be providing bins for participating campuses.
RECYCLE & EARN MONEY WITH PLANET AID
This year Planet Aid is the official textile recycler for the oneShirt Challenge. Planet Aid will provide pick up bins, weigh your donations and write a check to a non-profit of your choice based on how much you collect, up to 5 cents per pound!
