SustainU at Economic Justice Week at University of Louisville, January 15, 2010

SustainU will be bringing environmental and economic resposibility to the University of Louisville’s Economic Justice Week on Friday, January 15, 2010.  Amnesty International is working with a number of community groups to promote economic justice, labor rights, and environmental awareness. In efforts to emphasize sustainability, SustainU will be holding our OneShirt Campaign, which focuses on the importance of recycling textiles and the positive impact that these efforts can have on the planet. Bring any old t-shirts to the West Lawn on Friday between 11am-2pm. All the clothing collected will be donated locally to Goodwill. Also, SustainU founder Chris Yura will be discussing ethical business practices, specifically in the industry of sustainability in the SAC,  room 201 from 12:30-1:30pm.
